The aim of the 6 week challenge is to encourage Sydney Siders to get active and make a positive change to their health and wellbeing. This is not just a ‘get fit for summer campaign’. We are about lasting change and providing the information and support you need to improve the quality of your life.
Step 1 – Register on the Website
It’s free to register on our website and there is no obligation. When you register you will receive a username and password by email. This allows you to access all the content on our website that is restricted to the general public.
You’ll get access to:-
- Blogs: follow the blogs of people currently taking the challenge.
- Tips: get exercise, recipe and diet tips to help you look and feel your best.
- Active TV: watch videos of the Stars sharing their exercise and diet secrets.
- Forums: access our forums and chat with like minded people.
- Great deals: be eligible for discount gym passes and membership.
Step 2 – Join the Challenge
It’s free to join the challenge. When you register on our website you will receive an e-mail that invites you to join the 6 week challenge. You are not obligated to join the challenge, however if you decide to give it a go, we will support you every step of the way. When you join the challenge, you will not only improve your health and wellbeing, you will also raise money for charity.
Note: You must have your weight recorded by a staff member at All Sorts Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, at the beginning and end of your 6 week challenge and have an official participant card, for your weight loss to contribute to the charity donation. See details below.

What is the challenge?
The challenge involves you simply making a commitment to exercise more, while improving your eating habits over a 6 week period.
Do I have to exercise in the gym?
No! You can exercise at home, or outdoors if you prefer. You may even like to exercise in the gym, outdoor and at home to mix things up. What you do, it purely up to you. We are simply here to support you.
When do I start the challenge?
There is no fixed start date or end date. You choose when you start your 6 week (42 day) challenge. When you’re ready to start, simply drop in to All Sorts Fitness & Wellbeing Centre to get started.
When does the challenge end?
The challenge will end on 31 December 2010. You can do your 6 week challenge at anytime before 31/12/10.
Why go to All Sorts Fitness Centre?
Whether you decide to exercise at home, or in the gym we recommend you come in to All Sorts Fitness & Wellbeing Centre before you start.
Here are some reasons why:-
1. You can chat with a personal trainer who will advise you on the best exercise plan for you.
2. You will be entitled to a complementary 6 week challenge key ring, which serves as a momento for taking the challenge, and also as a reminder to help you stay on track, after you have completed your 6 week challenge.
3. You can win prizes for reaching your target weight loss.
4. Your weight will be officially recorded on your participant card at the start and end of your 6 week challenge, and we will then be able to donate $1 to charity for every KG you lose.
5. You will be entitled to a discount gym membership for the challenge ($66 for 6 weeks) to help you fast-track your success.
Note: You can take the challenge without coming in to All Sorts Fitness Centre to register, however you will not be entitled to the above benefits and your weight loss will not contribute to the charity donation.
How much does it cost to register for the challenge?
Nothing, you can register and receive support at no cost.
How do I join the challenge?
First register on our website. It’s free to register and there is no obligation. You will receive a username and password, along with an email inviting you to join the 6 week challenge. When you feel you’re ready to start your 6 week challenge, simply come in to All Sorts Fitness & Wellbeing Centre for a weigh-in and for a (no obligation) chat with one of our personal trainers.

Who is the charity?
Souths Cares assists disadvantaged youth in our community. $1 dollar will be donated to Souths Cares for every KG you lose during your 6 week challenge. However, you must have your weight recorded by a staff member at All Sorts Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, at the beginning and end of your 6 week challenge and have an official participant card, for your weight loss to contribute to the charity donation.
Can I do the challenge with a friend?
Yes, in fact we encourage you to do it with a friend, as it will help keep you motivated.
How do I become a blogger
When you register for the 6 week challenge you might like to become one of our bloggers and share your experience. Speak to one of the team at All Sorts Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, , you when you come in to register.
How do the business teams work?
We encourage people to get together with their work mates and take the challenge together. When you come down to All Sorts Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, you can register as a team, under a business name. We will promote your business on our website, as well as your team’s collective weight loss in recognition of your success and the money your team raises for charity.
